Bio
Evan W. Miller received a bachelor of science degree in biology/chemistry and a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy/theology from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2004. He completed his PhD in chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2009, under the direction of Christopher J. Chang. Miller pursued post-doctoral studies in the lab of Roger Y. Tsien at the University of California, San Diego from 2009 to 2013. Miller started his own lab in the departments of Chemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley in 2013. Miller’s lab works at the interface of organic chemistry, chemical biology, and neuroscience.
