Emmanuel Derivery

Polarized trafficking during asymmetric cell division
MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK

Emmanuel Derivery received a bachelor of science degree in molecular and cell biology from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (France) in 2006. In 2010, He completed his Ph.D in Cell Biology at the Curie Institute and Laboratoire de Biochimie Structurale under the supervision of Alexis Gautreau. He then pursed his postdoctoral studies in the laboratory of Marcos Gonzalez Gaitan at the University of Geneva working in part on NCCR chemical biology projects. Emmanuel started his own lab at the MRC/Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge in 2016, where he combines imaging, biochemistry and cell biology to investigate cytoskeleton dynamics during development.
