Abstract submission

Abstracts are related to any of the disciplines under the broad subject of Chemical Biology.

When submitting your abstract you may also (1) register to attend the Satellite event or (2) apply to receive a Symposia Fee Waiver/Travel Grant, both by selecting the appropriate box in the form below. The grant is open to junior scientists (PhD students, postdocs) working in Switzerland or in Europe and who are not members of the NCCR Chemical Biology.

Deadline for abstract submission and for applying for a Symposia Fee Waiver/Travel Grant is December 1, 2017.

  • Please follow the following format: [firstname] [initials] [surname]. Multiple author names should be separated by commas, except for the final two, which should be separated by “and”. Different affiliation places should be indicated with a number in parentheses. Example: John A. Smith (1), Tom B. Jones (1), Sam C. Green (2) and Bill D. Brown (1).
  • Accepted file types: doc, docx.
    In Word (doc, docx, odt) format. 650 characters max.
  • Accepted file types: jpg, gif, png.
    Please upload a picture relevant to your poster (jpg, gif, png etc.)

Abstract review process

Only participants that have received their registration confirmation can enter the review process.
Submitting authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process approximately two weeks after their submission.

Each poster is exposed for two of the four poster sessions : group A (afternoon of day 1 and lunch of day 2) or group B (afternoon of day 2 and lunch of day 3) as described in the programme.

When notified of the review process you will be informed of the posters group you have been allotted to.

Symposia Fee Waiver/ Travel Grant attribution

The organizing committee will select the recipients of this fellowship during the abstract review process and winners will be notified by e-mail December 15, 2017.
